Chris Birdsall is a multi-award winning communications specialist who began his career in journalism in the North of England before moving into commercial PR and publications.
As a PR consultant he worked for a range of companies and organisations including EMI CD, Deloittes, Swindon Borough Council, Nationwide, Radio 210, Swindon Town FC, and many others.
He spent 17 years working in NHS communications (including a 3 year stint at Broadmoor Hospital where he honed his crisis management skills!) and left his role as head of communications at The Great Western Hospital in 2009 to set up his own consultancy and develop the Communications Healthcheck package.
